Pineapple Bun 菠萝包

A pineapple bun is a sweet bun popular in Hong Kong and China. It has a mildly sweet bread base with a crispy cookie dough top. It is called the pineapple bun because it is made to resemble the epicarp of a pineapple after baking.  It has no pineapple inside.
