September 2019 - We were invited to host a local workshop for the New Zealand Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival in Wellington. We decided to run a moon-cake workshop for members of the community as well as Wellington Institute of Technology patisserie students. We taught locals the history and basics of the traditional moon-cake, as well as the modern snowy moon-cakes. Students were encouraged to bake their own moon-cakes and take them home.
